Breakfast Blend
With slightly higher concentration of dark roast than the Narragansett Blend, Breakfast tends to be richer, fuller, with a medium bodied smokiness that satisfies, and certainly not just for breakfast anymore.

Cafe Tikal Blend
Made up totally of light and dark Guatemalan coffees, and named for the Ancient Mayan city, this blend is full-bodied and rich, nutty and pleasing, and not so smoky as its Guatemalan ingredients would suggest.

Coffee Exchange Espresso Blend
Our Espresso Blend is a unique blend of dark-roasted African, Asian and Latin American coffees that stands up to the rigors of espresso, maintains that great crema with heady full body and robust intense flavor, and still provides that sweet, satisfying redolent espresso experience.

Full House Blend
Big and Bold, yet somehow slyly smooth and smoky, a little musky, full bodied with stay alert flavor, this blend provides that feeling of a caffeine jolt without the usual jitters. Originally blended as a special promotional blend for brother-in-law Ashley Adams’ House of Cards Radio online and on-air radio program, Full House Blend won’t help you fill an inside straight but it will get you that winning feeling in every cup. And you can take that to the bank.

Kid From Brooklyn
This combination of exotic Indonesian coffees, hearty South American coffees and a dash of African coffees creates what one former manager at Coffee Exchange described as having a “quirky bohemian spirit.” More than a hint of (Ethiopian) mocha is added to spark the Kid in all of us.

Kind of Blue
Flavor characteristics for this blend live in the superlative realm: very full bodied yet also with a crispness reflective of great coffee, perfectly balancing body, acidity and flavor. A very special light blend, with a backstory: We used to sell Jamaican Blue Mountain, about 12 years ago, back when it sold for a mere $50/LB on the street. We blended it with Sumatra, but always kept a few pounds "in the back" for anyone wanting to purchase the real thing, freshly roasted, for $35/LB. and we sold our share weekly. One day a regular JBM customer asked for some for a special occasion and, alas, we were fresh out of green, so we had none to sell him. "Then blend up something that tastes like Blue Mountain. I need it tonight." So, whereas all Coffee Exchange blends had been different combinations of light and dark roasted coffees, this time I looked for one light roasted coffee with pronounced body and another for crispness,a combination found in few origins, but is distinctive in Jamaican Blue Mountain. The regular came back the following day exclaiming: "That was Jamaican Blue Mountain! It was exceptional. Can you replicate it?" and so a blend was born. Later that year, we stopped purchasing JBM as part of our move to purchase only Fair Trade and Organic coffees, neither of which ever described JBM. And then in April, a regular, named Sean, standing at the bean counter, came up with the name, "Kind of Blue," the name of Jazz's best album, by Miles Davis, and a simultaneous reference to what many call the world's best-tasting coffee.

Mocha Java
The “original” coffee blend combines Ethiopian Mocha - with its earthiness and lemony complexities - and Indonesian “java” - characterized by full body, big round straight-ahead mellow and fruity flavors - to form “a more perfect union,” the internationally famous and historically significant Mocha Java: rich, sweet, complex, earthy.

Narragansett Blend
This is our official “House Blend,” served every day at he Coffee Exchange for going on 30 years. A blend of Caribbean and South American organic fair trade coffees brews a light smooth mellow cup with medium body and a distinct tangy flavor and a long soft citrus aftertaste.

Qty

San Francisco Bay Blend
This was our darkest blend (until Full House Blend came along a few years ago), but “surprisingly smooth” has been its reputation for 30 years. So much so that over the years it’s been suggested to any new customer looking for something “smooth” - regardless if that’s preceded by “light” or “dark.” If you’re looking for a distinctly heavy dark smoky -yet smooth - coffee blend, with a slightly musky aftertaste, you’ll love San Francisco Bay Blend.
